Mike Owens

A South Carolina native, Mike has called Savannah, Georgia home since 1997. He earned a Bachelor of Science in Business Administration with a Finance Major from the University of South Carolina and completed the Executive Institute Program at the Graduate School of Business Administration at the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill.

With a distinguished background in banking, Mike served as president, CEO, and director of three banks across South Carolina and Georgia. Under his leadership, each institution experienced significant growth and success, thanks to the strategic implementation of innovative expansion plans.

Mike’s career transitioned into investment advisory, where he spent ten years at a national investment firm. Throughout this time, he earned multiple accolades and eventually became a partner. His extensive financial experience allows him to provide tailored investment advice, focusing on each client’s unique circumstances and preferences.

At Sandlapper Wealth Advisory, Mike blends his experience in portfolio performance analysis, risk management, asset allocation, and tax strategies to create personalized financial plans that help clients achieve their goals.
